Islamic Finance & Banking
IIEF tries to enable African sovereigns to broaden their investor base, providing some diversification away from traditional Eurobond investors that will encourage more local market participants.
Islamic Microfinance
IIEF provides advisory services to Microfinance institutions and private practitioners on: Designing suitable Islamic Microfinance products and contracts, Scheming an efficient delivery channel for Islamic MF Products, etc.
Shariah Advisory Services
IIEF focuses on providing advisory services to financial institutions, Microfinance agencies, private practitioners and any other related institutions. We offer the following services.
Takaful Insurance
IIEF bears many similarities to co-operative or mutual insurance. But we advise on a different model of operation and the rules governing investments and profit sharing differs vividly.
Research & Consultancy
IIEF aims to publish semi-annual reports in June and December and provide a channel for publications of articles, research notes, case studies and book reviews in Islamic Finance, Economics, Banking and its related fields.
Islamic Social Finance
The ISF Unit IIEF approaches to implement these services as per UNDP identifications on Islamic Social Finance Tools such as Zakat, Sadaqa, and Waqf.
