The Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance (IIEF), in collaboration with SPREP, successfully concluded a two-day intensive training on Shariah Governance and Shariah Audit for Salam Financial Services and GTUICCU.
The training brought together Heads of Islamic Microfinance Institutions, Shariah Board Members, and Shariah Audit and Compliance Officers, all dedicated to strengthening the framework of Shariah-compliant financial practices in The Gambia.
We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Mamud Njie, SPREP Project Coordinator, Mr. Abdoulie Touray, CPCU Projects Coordinator, and DPS Ministry of Agriculture, whose participation added great value to the sessions.
At IIEF, we remain committed to unlocking the potential of Islamic finance in Africa through training, research, and capacity building.
